Foša & the Land Gate
Begin beside the little harbour. Before passing through the gate, stand back and look at the relationship between the water, walls and carved stone.

Five Wells Square
Continue to Trg pet bunara. Pause in the square and decide whether to make a short detour into the neighbouring garden before returning to the route.

People’s Square
Walk to Narodni trg. Choose a terrace, order a coffee and give yourself permission to stay. A city square is more rewarding when it is a pause, not a checkpoint.

Kalelarga
Follow the old town’s main street towards the cathedral area. Take a brief detour into a side lane, then return to the route; keep doorways and residents’ entrances clear.

The Roman Forum
Arrive at the open space by St Donatus. Explore at ground level, or add a church or museum visit if its current hours suit your day.

The Sea Organ & Greeting to the Sun
Finish on the western waterfront. Listen before reaching for your phone. If you stay for dusk, bring a layer and leave yourself an easy route back through the city.
